Crafty Saturday

Since my old fall wreath was looking a bit tattered, I decided it was time for a new one.  Mom and I, with a little help from Sassy, made new ones for our doors.

We started with plain grape wreath's from Michael's...

We purchased fall garland, which was lovely.  But rather than wrap the garland around the wreath, we decided to cut it apart, and use each part individually.

Instead of a glue gun, Mom brought over her glue pot - it was fantastic!  Much easer than a glue gun for this project.  Just dip the ends of the leaves, pinecones, berries, or whatever you're using into the glue pot, and stuff inside the wreath.  Super easy!

Not to be left out, Sassy gets a much needed drink from Mom.  Crafting is hard work after all!

  5. Great wreath! I love it that the leaves don't go all the way around, seeing some of the vine wreath is just so appealing to me.
