My First Goodwill Find
A new Goodwill store opened last Friday in our town, the first. We have very few good thrift stores, just a Salvation Army and a store run by the Assistance League. I've had a bit of luck in the Assistance League store, but never at Salvation Army. I couldn't wait to check out the GW, as I've seen so many of you post about the great deals you've found. I've been looking for a TV stand for my son's room; he finally told me he really didn't care for the bar stool that the TV was perched on...imagine that! I found this TV/Bookshelf, and it's even on wheels!
I sanded off just the finish, and it took about 20 minutes...
After a few cans of black spray paint, it started to look like this...
It think it looks pretty good in My Boy's room, next to his dresser...
Not bad for $39 and a few cans of spray paint!
